At this year's Extreme Maltese Metal Festival we can catch up 19 Maltese Bands together with 1 Foreign Band, The Source.

It will consist of 3 Stages which are split into 1 Rock Stage & 2 Extreme Metal Stages

Give us your opinion regarding this Festival.

I think its really good with 3 stages and also that some rock bands will play this year - hopefully will bring some new cool ppl to the metal scene? :) Anyway...I'm just happy we have a well organized festival in Malta for rock and metal :) Last years festival kicked ass...think I spended around 80 lira on drinks :) will try to beat that "spending money on drinks record" this year.

Work done nicely, as expected of you guys, honestly nice job.
what i think about the fact of having 3 stages is not bad, but however i think that one stage would have been enough, I mean, being realistic, this is not a concert of extreme scales, although I wish it was.
Considering the fact just said, I also see it as having one stage as being the symbol of the unification of us bought rock and metal brothers, all expressing there talents on that same stage. if that leaves too much unused space in the chosen place, i do believe that you people have enough creativity to work that out.
20 bands .... sweet, I think I will have a hell of a neck ache the day after (although I can handle a whole day.... \m/. >_< .\m/
not to mention that we will have an awesome Foreign Band rocking' the stage, which by the way may be a huge advert for our mostly beloved Maltese bands performing during the event.

Hail to all.

First and foremost I would like to thank all bands taking part of the Metal Fest, having music especially rock in my ears surely satisfies my nature.

On the other hand I agree completely with Alucard regarding the issue of having 1 or 3 stages, but as a matter of fact I would like to discuss this more in order to clarify the whole issue.

Having one stage would surely reflect on the Metal fest as one unification, that is, music as rock and not as individuals. Music should be the icon of this fest and not brains in a cocoon form.

Having three stages would be easy for the bands to prepare for their gig. So as a matter of time saving that would be the best option.

This message is for all bands playing in the metal fest. prepare yourselves to rock cause I am coming, to rock with you guys.

So lets rock the whole planet!!!!! \m/

Better late than never - Opting for 3 stages is merely due to the fact that live music will not stop this year... no time wasted for change overs between bands. Our intention was never to split metal from rock or not to have'unification', all bands are playing the same event... thats the unification... malta has only seen a similar number of bands in the 'live buzz'. If you do not know what it was, talk to someone older (like me LOL)

Well said, though I am sure that you understood my ideas regarding the issue of having 3 stages.

Unification, as a word is bombastic though its meaning is quite simple, that is, more then one movement or motion directed to one AIM.

i like the idea of mixing metal and rock bands together(it used to be like that in the past) ,let's face it at the end of the day everyone like some style more than another but who the hell cares!!!its all good kick ass music!!! so let's all bang our head tonight!! :)
