- Well... what can I say... My name's Christina and I'm 20 years old. I heard my very first metal song some 6 or 7 years ago (started with Slipknot straight away heh) and was hooked instantly. After that I just continued adding bands to the ever-growing list I listen to (and I have to thank my bf Albert greatly for adding to my list).
Bands I listen to... well the list includes: Evereve, Eternal Tears of Sorrow, Infernal Poetry, Slipknot, Cradle of Filth, Thy Infernal, Parkway Drive, Gojira, Dagoba, Sonata Arctica, Evergrey, Sirenia, Tristania, Keep of Kalessin, Lamb of God, Rotting Christ, Cryptopsy, Mnemic, Otep... and many many others...
Hobbies apart from listening to music include writing poetry (look below), going out, spending time with my bf Albert (who is one of the best people I could have ever met :) ), driving around and hanging out with my friends (and making new ones too). I was learning how to play the guitar, but unfortunately didn't have the time to continue... but I do want to start learning again.
Now after introducing myself... I leave you to read one of my poems and watch some videos... enjoy...
Vampire (by me)
This flesh of mine craves the dark –
The night-time hunt; my heathen mark.
The victim’s hearts belong to me;
I steal their life; their destiny.
Forget the world you used to know;
You sink too deep; nowhere to go.
Don’t fight the strength you give to me;
Your soul cries out so helplessly.
I am alone; a much-feared beast;
Known only by my choice of feast.
The night, my friend, shall hide my face,
Whence it lived on in another place.
The darkest truth in these eyes of mine -
The mark of death; the unholy sign.
You saw it when it was too late
Now meet the truth; I’ll seal your fate.
Your blood imitates life for now, you see,
Whilst your soul dies down inside of me.
Your life; precious; in my timeless frame;
My un-beating heart, for now, is tame.
