Around September 2005 , having recently finished off other projects, Wenzu , Digby and Steve decided to start off an experimental heavy rapcore band....ClubMurder ... 8 musicians with different backgrounds all sharing the same interest and taste in music. After a long period of time experimenting on these two styles ClubMurder came up with more distinguished and solid Material that led to their first song "high on Corpses”, more songs where written at the time ,some scrapped and some re arranged. In early 2007 ClubMurder went out live for the first time. The Crowd's enthusiasm definitely made this project one worth working on. A couple of months later due to some differences ClubMurder lost a Bassist who was replaced shortly after by their current bassist. Picking up straight away with the music and the band the members felt more concrete than ever, although members is the wrong word here, this is more like family. These guys have been knowing each other for ages, and all shared a stage more than once before in previous bands, which is why they probably have such a strong, twisted musical bond together. With Steve "Cannibaal" Muscat on drums , Dave Depasquale and Stefan Schembri on Guitars , Claudio "Tukan" Toscano on bass , Ian Schembri on sampling and keyboards, Keith "SynChronic"Falzon on Turntables, Joseph “Microdot" Digby and Wenzu Joyce on Vocals , a very experimental style of Underground Profanity has been created. The band has made quite an impact in the Maltese metal scene with their 1st gig holding one of the biggest underground turnouts of the year. The 1st two promotional tracks "High on Corpses" and "Preserved in Pain" where a typical garage recording, the usual test for a band to see what they sound like on CD, The material recorded was a success in the band's eyes and decided they should promote these songs on MySpace to see what people's response to it would be, and surprisingly got quite a global attention as you can see in most people’s comments from different parts of the world. After about a year or so of song writing and live gigging, they entered Spine Splitter Studios to record 11 tracks. ClubMurder is NOT your everyday rapcore band clearly shown in their Debut album " ...Where Every Body Dies" . A Violent mixture of Spine Grinding Guitar riffing , Ground & Pound Drumming , intertwined with the sickest Sampling and Turntablism which is overruled by Mentally instable Brutal metaphoric Raps side by side with one of the most Aggressive new school Death Metal Voices around. As you can see this is no refreshing walk in the Park! It’s more like an experimental extermination machine. ClubMurder have been working hard to provide the Aggression they are known for, even if it involved dropping excessive speed hip-hop lyricism on extreme drumming or anything experimental that wasn’t really heard before , they always made sure it sounded right. Being 8 members is quite a challenging task , especially since these guys always bear in mind that each instrument has its own major importance in the band. As noticed in their Debut album " ...Where Every Body Dies" not one song goes by without expressing each instrument and its right time. From F Sharp Grooves that can't really get any heavier to a flowing rhythm that will make you nod all the way , this band has achieved what they refer to as "Horror Music" , a psychopathic new breed of Extreme Rapcore.
